Can you please tell me how to word this statement better?
" Are you the decision maker? "
I just want to know how to put this better without souding so direct and rude but yet get this information!!

Another way to soften the statement is to mention the specific area of interest.
"When it comes to purchasing a new car for your family, are you the decision maker?" :wink:

That's good, but I think it should be decisions there. (As it turns out, he was asking about a seller talking to a buyer (on the corporate level), but those were good suggestions.)
