Please share and tell me what the underlined phrase means?
The new somatics restores us to the creaturely in an abstract world.

Say what!! I am beginning to like this site. Where on earth, nimsooze, did you turn up this sentence? (Sounds pseudo-biblical) Anyway, your question is easy enough: 'restores' us means 'returns us to a condition that existed previously.' You can restore a kitchen chair; but in this case, the meaning (of the sentence) is . . . well, pretty much knee-capped by the word 'creaturely.'

P.s.: 'knee-capped' means 'crippled, made meaningless.'

is there a contradiction between "creaturely" and "abstract"?
