letter to a teacher
I really your help about how to write a letter/email to a teacher.
I do send email to my teachers sometimes when I don't understand the homework. I wasn't sure about how to write it. Should it be formal? or not too informal, but not too formal either? For example, how to start and end the email? I usually use ' yours sincerely' , but doesn't it sound too formal. What if I only say 'thank you', would it look to disrespect or something like that.
thank you for your help!
Re: letter to a teacher
It depends on how often you see the teacher and how "close" you are with them. I'm in high school, so I'm pretty "close" with my teachers, and I usually just close with "Thank you/Thanks", [name].
I'm not sure about college or online school, but I'd probably write more formally.
Hope this helps!
