ADVISE ABOUT TOEFEL

Greetings Teacher,
Iam a Ugandan male citizen aged 27years.All along i have been studying from Uganda where the official language is English.This year, 2004 i want to apply to Universities either in Europe or America so as to go on for further studies .Teacher iam also supposed to do TOEFEL exams???? If so where here in Germany can i register from and what is expected of me???

As I am not a teacher, I have no idea of what are required to take a toefl.

Hi! what's up? I'm Jinx from Argentina. I'm quite acquainted with these type of exams and for that reason I would recommend you IELTS- It is more used for academic purposes. As regard TOEFL, I can say that it is more required in US universities though it shows a high level in competence in English.
