Default white will be this season's black

Please help me with the bracked part:

If skinny stilettos are in, next will come thick wedge heels. Tight pants will be followed by looser cuts. [White will be this season’s black. Long will be this season’s white.]

Default Re: white will be this season's black

Hello Unreg

It means:

1. This season, white clothes will be as fashionable as black clothes were last season.

and

2. This season, long garments will be as fashionable as white garments were last season.

All the best,

MrP
