Born from the sound of strings!
"I was born from the sound of strings" is the sentence with which the song of Scorpions "Born 2 touch ur feelings" begins.
My question is:
What part of speech is born? Is it an adjective? Or is it the past participle of the verb "to bear"? Is it possible to say "my mother bore me in 1977"?
Many thanx n advance.

Re: Born from the sound of strings!
It's a past participle to me. You can say 'my mother bore me in 1977', but it would not be very usual.
