More fool you

I use this expression alot but when my Flemish boyfriend asked me what it meant i couldnt explain it. Can someone help?

More fool you = Your behaviour shows that you are more of a fool than I thought. It's a very economical idiom - no wonder you use it a lot [2 words]. :-)

The stress is on the 'you', and yes, it's quite common. It's less common in the 1st and 3rd persons ('more fool me/him...etc'), though it does exist.
