word order
Hi,
could you please tell me whether the following word order is correct? (I need to end the sentence with "by and between"):
Contract for Work entered into within the meaning of Section 234, paragraph 3 while applying the provisions of Section 548 of the Commercial Code, as amended, by and between:
Thank you very much.

Re: word order
The phrase is fine, but these commas are odd: ...,as amended,....

Re: word order
and would the whole sentence be OK without the commas if the words "as amended" relate only to the commercial code?

Re: word order
What about moving 'by and between', say, here?
Ex: Contract entered into by and between...

Re: word order
Yes, I could say it so. I just wonder, whether it would be possible to end the sentence with "by and between:". Do you think that my first version without the commas would be correct?
Thanks a lot.

Re: word order
You'll have to make that choice.
-
Re: word order
so both versions are gramatically correct?
