Thanks  | 1. Your first use is correct, but there is an "I" missing before "went".
2. That is the present perfect tense. It is used for actions that were completed in the recent past or for actions completed in the past that still have relelvance in the present. For example, If someone offers you an apple, you might reply "I have (already) eaten one." |
