Default signing off a letter

Could you please confirm whether, in a letter addressed to Dear Mr Bloggs, but using the phrase "we" as opposed to "I" in the body of the letter you sign off
Yours faithfully
or
Yours sincerely?
Many thanks

If you start Dear Mr Bloggs, you should sign off "Yours sincerely". If you start Dear Sir/Madam, you should sign off "Yours faithfully". I don't think this changes if you use "we" or "I'.

That's exactly how I know it but I'm sure we'll have other opinions. We'll be told that we're old-fashioned,perhaps?
