thıs ıs from a conversatıon plz try to explaın the correct answer and ıf there ıs any specıal usage
The Dean asked where the book was
and;
the gırl saıd 'I dont know'
the boy wrote'' me.................'' neıther or eıther ?


whıch one ıs correct ?

The answer is : Neither do I
or
I don`t either.

My advice is you should use :Neither do I.

In fact, though, in American conversation "Me neither" is really common.
"I don't know."
"Me neither."

I wouldn't WRITE it, or course! In writing --
Jim didn't know, and neither did I. Jim said he didn't know and I confirmed that I didn't either.
