So this seems to me as if someone had the part of Talbot Champneys (a character in a play) in a play called 'Our Boys' which was for charity reasons-Fund for Poor Curates. However 'll try to inform myself and I'll let you know.
To start with, this is what I have found up to now:
Our Boys is a comedy play written by Henry James Byron, first performed in London in 1875. Until it was surpassed by the run of Charley's Aunt in the 1890s, it was the longest running play ever, with 1362 performances.
