 Past Perfect tense I had lived here for 4 months before I shifted there. |

| Re: Past Perfect tense The tense usage is correct, but it's unclear to me what you mean by "shifted" in this sentence. Also, the usage of "here" and "there" is a little confusing. Do you mean something like, "I had lived there for four months before I moved there," or "I had lived here for four months before I moved there permanently?" |
