I do not feel that it is incorrect as you wrote it; either will do. However, as you are the one receiving the prize, it makes sense to place "me" before "my family".
I wrote... "I won the district award and was presented with this in London which was a real honour for me amd my family."
Suggested I use "My family and me" O.K but was I grammatically incorrect?
