Need advice on literary devices, thanks teachers
Dear teachers,
In the following sentence:
The clothespin becomes that soldier standing at attention.
What literary device is being used in it?
Is it more of a metaphor or a personification?
Please advise, thanks.

Without context I would say personification - I presume this comes from a story in which a clothespin is used as a toy.
