Team members would be available at any time should they be needed by Jamaican police but he said now he wanted to see them home with their families who were "very worried and disturbed". The team had been though "unbelievable stress and trauma", he said.

I understood the highlighted sentence as :

Team members will be available at any time if they are needed by Jamaican Police.

Am I right?
