statement correction pls help

can any one please help in correcting the statement written below?

the table shows data collected from "xyz" company according to the number of students passed for different tests conducted by them ..

i would like to know if it wrong to use "passed for different " in this scenario .. pls help it is urgent

Are the students passed in order to take tests within the company or have they passed tests set by the company? It is not clear.

If the former, then your phrase can stand.

If the latter, then it needs re-phrasing : "the number of students who passed the different tests"
