    nonetheless; nevertheless; despite; in spite of

    Nonetheless/neverthelss contrast sentences:

    I was exhausted. Nevertheless, I worked all night.

    Despite/in spite of go with a noun phrase:
    He did it despite my advice.

    Yes, basically, though in spite of and nonetheless are less commonly used.
