1) Don't address your letter to an anonymous 'sir.' There are both men and women responding to these queries, and to exclude the female teachers is a little off-putting.

2) Proofread before hitting the 'submit' button. If you are truly an English teacher, you should be personally appalled at the poor grammar, lack of punctuation and failure to capitalize appropriately.
