A spider is not an insect. An insect has six legs, but a spider has eight. A spider can walk on walls and ceilings. It has a tiny mouth. It can spin webs, which are used to trap insects, which they feed on

Many people do not like spiders because they look ugly and scary, but spiders do not harm us. In fact, they help us by eating insects which are harmful to us.
