The curiculum of my school requires me to understand about any types of text. I have try to find the answer in some sites. however, it does not make me satisfied. could you please tell me some types of text and their structure or genre.
Look at what the text is trying to do. Is it informative (notices, etc), or trying to persuade people to do something (adverts) or to convince people of or express an idea or opinion (comments and leaders in newspapers), etc.
