Could somenone please tell me if there's any mistake in what I've written and if it makes sense? It is a piece of English homework.

In this case I totally agree with the Court’s decision. I think that Evolutionism is based on scientific premises whereas Creationism is based on beliefs.
I am not against the teaching of religious doctrines but I think that the pupils should be free in deciding about study or not such subjects.
I also agree with the decision of the Court in the fact that the Act did not really protect academic freedom because teachers were obliged by the Act to supplant the present science curriculum with the presentation of theories, besides evolution, about the origin of life.
