Reticence?

Can someone please tell me which of the following sentences is correct:

1. "Given the reticence of some people to accept change..."

2. "Given some peoples’ reticence in accepting change..."

3. "Given the reticence some people show in accepting change..."

Change the word "reticence" to "reluctant" or "reluctance", and these sentences would all be fine.

• adjective not revealing one’s thoughts or feelings readily.



reluctance


• noun unwillingness or disinclination to do something.



You could also use "resistance/resistant"
