want to ask about TOEFEL

hi
its seema anand here, i m an Indian presently in U.S on a visa (H4)
i want to ask u about TOEFEL, how to prepare and appear for this exam
i have done my masters from india in business management and now want to pursue in some doctoral pragramme in U.S
in University of Phoenix or in Arizona State University . How this exam is going to help me in accomplishing that
i m also having a work experience of almost 2.5 yrs out of which 2 years with two educational institutes as a lecturer
i also want to know that can i serve as a teacher (part time) with any of the management schools here
do i need to appear for GMAT or its not required

TOEFL is for American university entrance. Being British, I'm slightly out of this, but, as far as I know, GMAT is for entrance to MBAs, which is the area you are interested in.
