In a company, there will be many contracts produced between the company and its clients/suppliers.

In a centralized system, these contracts will be drawn up by a department which does nothing else. They will take the information from all the other departments and produce the contract.

The company has decided to stop doing this.

It closes the contracts department, and tells all the other departments that they will in future produce their own contracts.

It has abolished its centralized contract system.
