Converting rhetorical questions/interrogative sentences into reported speech

How do we convert the rhetorical questions and interrogative sentences in direct speech into reported speech?

Given that it is the context that makes it clear that it's a rhetorical question, then it should still be clear when it is reported, so I would treat it the same way as a normal question.
