I have learned that the word "dignified" can be used to describe someone's personality. So I'm curious to know whether I could use this word for somebody who is very quiet, shy, introvert.
For example, if I say "he/she is a dignified boy/girl" or "you are dignifed", is it rude or will it annoy them?
I usually (often?) say these things ("you are bla~bla~") to the others in conversations with friends that I have just got to know, which means I'm not very close to them. Where I live, it's no problem to say these things. (well it depends on the situations. :) )
