To the best of my knowledge, I can see no difference.
What is the difference between "at last" and "finally"? Can you make some examples? Thanks you for your help !
PS: ^^ Sorry for my English!
To the best of my knowledge, I can see no difference.
At last:
"After a considerable length of time; finally."
(From the Online Dictionary, Encyclopedia and Thesaurus. Free access.)
Finally:
"You use finally to suggest that something happens after a long period of time, usually later than you wanted or expected it to happen."
(From Collins Cobuild)
I also believe their meanings are similar, if not exactly the same.
