Default "As good as it gets"

Hi, I've watched the movie "As good as it gets" with Jack Nicholson and didn't really get the meaning of the title... Can you tell me what does it mean, please?

P.S.

You will be happy when it is as good as it gets- it has a positive connotation, so your English would be perfect or so near as to not make any difference.
