Default "As good as it gets"

Hi, I've watched the movie "As good as it gets" with Jack Nicholson and didn't really get the meaning of the title... Can you tell me what does it mean, please?

It means " it's not going to get better than this" but the same phrase has been used in a sardonic or ironic way in the movie.
