Default benefits of getting married

If you see any problems, please let me have your comments.

1. There are benefits of ( or to??)getting married;

2. Married people are more responsible than singles.

3. Married people are more mature than they were singles.

4. If you are married, you don’t have to turn on the light for yourself in a dark room because your wife will be always waiting for you with the light turned on.

5. You will have benefits by getting married because you can watch your children grow up.

6. Married life is safer than single life because our right can be legally guaranteed.

I could very easily comment on the choice of words, but choose not to.

Where on earth do these phrases come from? Are you really being taught English by someone giving you these brainwashing ideas?
