Default abuse etc.

Dear teachers,

I have three questions to ask:

No.1
Most advertising people regret _____ of their profession.
a. abuses b. misuses
The key is 'a'. No problem. 'b' isn't correct because it is an uncountable noun. And if the choice is 'misuse' then I can choose it. Is that right? In other words the problem is a grammatical one. The meanings of the two words are the same. Is that right?

No.2
And they say that ______ advertising makes people buy some things that they don't really need.
a. hight-pressure b. high-tech
The key is 'a'. No problem. 'b' is used to modify a house, offices etc. Is that right?

No.3
She looked at Larry, delighting in teh pointed little face frowning in _________ over the tunnel he was digging.
I have asked the question once but I omitted two choice because I thought it impossible. Now I am going to type all the choices here.
a. attention (not correct) b. concentration ( The key. Your explanation is 'in concentration is the collocation)
c. focus d. meditation
My question is: Are 'c' and 'd' possible?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thank you in advance.

1. I would say that misuses can be unintentional, whereas abuses are not. The meaning is close though (to me).
2. high-tech refers to electronics and similar goods.
3. you frown because of the efforts you make; I don't think "meditation" work here, but maybe "focus" could (though "concentration" is clearly a better fit).

My 2 cents.

Dear Francois,
Haven't heard from you for really a long time. Glad you are back.
Thank you very much for your explanation. Now I see.
