Question I need some help

Hello You all,
I've just registered as a member in this forum a few minutes ago. I'd like to get some orientation about how and where finding some ESL theoretical material.
I am an EFL teacher and my mother tonge is Spanish, I taught English in Chile for many years and now I live in the US.
I have to take a written test (for my ESL teaching certification) in May, and some of the topics that will be evaluated has to do with CURRICULUM, INSTRUCTION, AND ASSESSMENT
Understand instructional approaches in second-language acquisition and learning.
● Theoretical foundations of past and present approaches to ESL instruction (the Grammar-Translation method, the Audio-Lingual method, the Natural Approach, Integrated Language Teaching, Content-Based Instruction, the Communicative Approach)
● Various ways of grouping students for given instructional purposes
Identification of learners’ prior knowledge, experiences, and needs as the basis for decisions about curriculum and instruction; and methods of relating ESL instruction to students’ lives.

Instructional strategies to foster the listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills of ESL students.
● Recognition of the instructional needs of students. at various levels of proficiency; methods of designing purposeful activities in listening, speaking, reading, and writing for students. of different ages and proficiency levels
Relationships among decoding, comprehension, and the transfer of first-language literacy skills and oral language skills in instruction
● Development of appropriate classroom activities that integrate listening, speaking, reading, and writing to foster development of students’ language and literacy skills.
Instructional strategies to develop ESL students’ effective use of English in social settings.
● Synchronic and diachronic variation (strategies to develop students’ ability to share and request information)
● Use of activities based on real-life situations and social interactions
Synchronic and diachronic variation (strategies to develop spoken and written English for personal expression and enjoyment)
● Synchronic and diachronic variation Ways to extend students’ communicative competence (e.g., testing hypotheses about lge., using lge. “chunks,” focusing attention selectively, comparing verbal/ nonverbal cues).

Understand instructional strategies to facilitate academic content learning for ESL students.
● Content-based instruction methods for developing sts’ language skills and academic content knowledge
● Strategies to develop ESL students’ ability to construct and apply academic content knowledge
Strategies that integrate content and language objectives
● Strategies that incorporate students’ prior knowledge (e.g., linguistic, cultural, and educational experiences) to enhance academic content learning
Strategies for collaboration between the ESL teacher and all other teachers.
Understand how to select and use instructional resources for ESL students.
Criteria and procedures for evaluating instructional resources
● Selection of appropriate materials and technologies to make content accessible.
● Use and design of instructional materials
● Adaptation of materials to meet the needs, interests, and proficiency levels of individual students
Identification and modification of curricular resources for diverse student populations
● Inclusion of community resources (family, community organizations).
Understand appropriate assessment methods in ESL instruction.
Strategies for aligning assessment with curriculum and instruction
Features, advantages, and limitations of various methods of assessing language skills (portfolios, performance assessment, peer assessment, standardized tests, student self-assessment); and identification of appropriate assessment strategies for elementary and secondary students with limited English proficiency.
Understand regulations governing services for ESL students.
Knowledge of identification, assessment, and placement procedures ( entry/exit criteria)
● Standardized test policies
● Knowledge of program models
● Strategies for aligning ESL programs with district curriculum
● Strategies for involving families and communicating with them about programs and services.

I've pasted the topic in order to give an idea about what will be tested. I've just want to know how to find some information about the written in blue.
