call up
Other day, I read something that called my attention:
-"Dean has to wake up early every day to CALL UP his brother, or else he oversleeps and misses work">
- Does to "call up" exist (meaning "To wake sb up? )?
I havenīt found it anywhere. (I know the other definitions, such as: to order someone to join the army, navy, or airforce ; to telephone someone).
