Who / Which is taller, Brendon or Benny?

Of course "Who is taller:Brenden or Benny?" Who is for people, which is for things and animals.

Thanks. For a moment, I was confused by story about animals. In such stories, the animals talk, so 'who' is used to refer to them.

You can use "which" where the reference is indirect, e.g.

1. "I measured the twins yesterday." "And which (one) was taller?"
2. "I measured the twins yesterday. Which would you say is taller?"
3. "I know that one of your sons is at Eton; but I can't remember which."

"Which one" isn't equal to "who" in this case.
