Which of the following are correct:
1-In 1963, the assassination of President Kennedy marked a turning point in the History of the USA.
2-The assassination of President Kennedy, in 1963, marked a turning point in the History of the USA.
3-The assassination, in 1963, of President Kennedy marked a turning point in the History of the USA.
I’d go for #2 and #3.
#1 is grammatically okay, but I don’t think it means what you want to say. The time phrase “in 1963” is supposed to apply only to “the assassination of President Kennedy”, not to the marking of the turning point of American history.

Good point. Took me a while to get what you meant, but you're right.
Thanks.
