    which one is correctf

    im busy that day because that day is a friday
    im busy that day because that is friday

    You can use either , if you have a commitment to do something on every Friday.

    If you just want to say that on this one Friday you are busy, then the second one is ok.

    It would be better to phrase the statement as "If that is Friday, then I'm busy on Friday/Fridays"
