Which word is appropriate?

I'd like ask the word used when you describe the building.

I think you use "tall" when describing people. Then which do you use, "tall" or "high" with "building"?

1) That building is much higher than the ABC building.
2) That building is much taller than the ABC building.

I'd be happy if I have a comment.

Buildings can be tall or high. Tall is a relative term. A man of 6 feet is tall, but a tree of 6 feet is not. There is also a shape issue in "tall"; something must have significantly more height than width. High is less relative, referring to absolute elevation. A skyscraper is both tall and high.
