Smile qualities/characteristics

Genetics is the study of how the qualities/characteristics/traits/natures/constitutions/features/marks/properties/characters of living things are passed on in thier genes.

The words in bold are all synonyms in my dictionary, but I'm not sure if they all fit here. Please help me delete those that don't work. Thanks.

But I would rather listen to a few words of your advice because all those links with tons of English always dazzle me.

Ah, but they are examples of authentic English. Moreover, I specifically chose those sentences because they house the vocab you're asking about.

Thanks for your kindness, Casiopea.
I enjoy a few lines or a paragraph from you, but pages and pages of English always give me a headache time.
