Plese help me! Which sentence is true ?
Please tell me which is true in the flowing sentences, and why?
“When he became famous, he had people stopping him in the street and asking for his autograph.”
“When he became famous, he had people stopping him in the street and asked for his autograph.”

The first one is correct. That is based on parallelism. It's a compound verb: stopping and asking. You can't say stopping and asked.
