Is/Are there any...
Is it correct to ask 'Is there any problem with...?' instead of 'Are there any problems with...?'. As I'm not a native speaker I asked a friend of mine who is an English teacher and she told me the first one isn't correct. Anyway I'm sure I've heard it before. Please could you help me, I'd be very grateful.
Re: Is/Are there any...
Normally, we would say "Is there a problem with" for the singular. With count nouns, "any" usually takes a plural.
