Default How To Congratulate Someone

I would like to know how to congratulate (by e-mail) a person who is pregnant. She is not a relative, nor a friend, we have an "informal" relationship (but not too much!).
What else can I say, apart from "Congratulations"?
Thank you!

maybe, you can be friendly, by asking how is the baby, and also by trying to be interested, by asking whether it is a boy or a girl

I would say something along the lines of

"I hear that you and [ xxxx] are due to have a baby soon, and would like to congratulate you both. My very best wishes for your future family."

{I am presuming that she is in a stable relationship!}

That is also good, but it doesn't really show your interest

Note that She is not a relative, nor a friend, so a simple congratulation is best.

If you have a better message, perhaps you could post it?
