playing tag, many
What are the meanings of the underlined phrases as follow:
- Children are exercising when they're at recess, riding bikes, or playing tag.
- The Many Benefits of Exercise. (any special meaning by putting 'many' here?)
Thanks.

Thanks.
Tag is a chasing game, also called in BE 'He'. The person who starts is said to be 'It': 'Let's play He/Tag; I'll be It'. The person who is It touches or tags someone, and that person (the person touched) becomes It. So the typical opening gambit is: 'Let's play He/Tag; I'll be It and before anyone's reacted ... now you are.'
