| She wants the first intro page of my paper to not have a page number and the second page to start with Page 2. (The word page being substituted with my last name.) I tried putting a header in, but MS-Word keeps putting the number at the top-starting at page one. How do I start numbering from page 2, also starting from numeral 2? Thank you! |

| Go to Insert, scroll down to Page Numbers, click on it, at the bottom of the window you'll see show number on first page. Click on the box to uncheck it. You should be fine. If that doesn't work, go to Help, type in hide page number on first page, and the first listing that comes up will show you how to do. All the best. |
