| Hello, Christ, welcome to Using English! "Good working practices" are the standard, sensible things you do, when you do a particular job (with regard to health & safety, efficiency, legality, etc). Thus if you are an electrician, it's a good working practice to switch off the power at the mains and unplug the appliance before you attempt to repair it. And if you're a doctor, it's good working practice to wash your hands before you examine the next patient. All the best, MrP |
