Do they make sense?Which one is meaningful a or b?

1- a) Although Lucy has been married for two years,she doesn't know how to cook.
b) Although Lucy doesn't know how to cook,she has been married for two years.

2- a) Since I didn't hear the alarm clock, I overslept.
b) Since I overslept,I didn't hear the larm clock.
