question
Hi there. Could you tell me why this sentence is incorrect?
“Have you got any money?” “Yes. I’ve been to the bank yesterday.”
I see that "I've been" is wrong. But why?
Thanks!

You can't use the present perfect for a finished time in the past.
In this case you must say: I went to the bank yesterday.
Because today is unfinished time, you should say: I've been to the bank today.
For the same reason you should say:
I've been to the bank this month. / I've been to the bank this week.
If it's still afternoon, you should say: I've been to the bank this afternoon.
If it's already evening, you should say. I went to the bank this afternoon.
