Hello everyone!
in this case "Blanchett, who despite her demanding Holllywood schedule has continued to perform live on stage, said the new job of directing a theatre company would be challenging" challenging means "stimolante" not "impegnativo" isn't it?

Both. If something is hard to do, it's 'a challenge' or 'challenging'. But some people - like Kate B. - enjoy trying to do things that they find challenging; they find the challenge stimulating.

because the word "DESPITE" makes me think that the job is, regardless, stimolante
