First of all, I really appreciate everyone's comments. Most of them seem to be very insightful. However, when I consider the overall context, which is Joseph Conrad's The Tale, I think that I have to go with "I've had enough of it", i.e. the overall situation itself. The speaker wants to get out of it, preferably, though, not the way the Commanding Officer orders him to.

If you have additional comments, I'd appreciate them as well.

I'm sorry, but, IS IT indeed a colloqualism?
Because one other professor of EN literature told me that it's probably a mistake(?! lol)...
