settle for anything less
The teacher has set such high standards for us that she won't settle for anything less.
Does the part in bold sound good? Thanks.

She won't settle for anything less than what?

Thanks, Barb.
It's a stand-alone test question, and I think it doesn't sound very good.

Re: settle for anything less
Maybe... She won't settle for less than perfection?
As I re-read it, it could be "anything less than her high standards." But I'd prefer it to be "and she won't settle for anything less" rather than "that she won't..."
